Bringing the Gospel to Life
“Most parishes are familiar with the traditional preached parish mission given by a priest or team over four or five days. These missions are usually successful and well received by those in attendance.
Recently, our parish community experienced a three-night mission presented by Dr. Nina Marie Corona of AFIRE Ministries in preparation for Pentecost. The Holy Spirit was truly active and moving within the Church.
Dr. Corona not only speaks the message of the mission, but through the use of contemporary music, large-screen videos, reflections, banners, and relevant handouts, she brings the Gospel alive and sets hearts on fire with God’s message.
It is a truly moving sensory, spiritual, and emotional experience that sets it apart from a typical preached mission. Participants returned each night in anticipation, drawn into prayerful reflection through what they saw, heard, and experienced. They did not leave disappointed.
I do not believe you would either if you gave Dr. Nina Marie Corona the opportunity to bring her mission and message to your parish community. Set your church on fire and let the Spirit move where it wills.”
